The Opportunity

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst on our Commercial P&C Price Modelling & Sophistication team , you'll transform complex data into strategic insights that drive business decisions and real-world impact. Using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and actuarial expertise, you'll help shape pricing strategies and identify opportunities for innovation. Working alongside a collaborative team of actuaries and data scientists, you'll be part of a forward-thinking environment where actuarial science meets cutting-edge data science.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and build advanced actuarial models to predict loss costs and customer demand.
  • Support model monitoring and validation, including identifying performance deterioration, portfolio shifts, and emerging segment behavior.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, underwriters, and actuarial professionals to align analytical solutions with business objectives.
  • Communicate practical recommendations based on insights/model results.
  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement by mentoring colleagues, sharing actuarial expertise, and contributing to the evolution of data science practices.

What you’ll bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 CAS exams.
  • Minimum 3 years of P&C work experience.
  • Actuarial curiosity to learn and explore new solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with software engineering best practices (e.g., modularity, code reuse, documentation).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performing team.

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 . Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
