Description

Position Summary and Essential Functions:

The Senior Associate, Digital Platforms & Marketing Operations is responsible for the operational administration, governance, measurement, and continuous improvement of OFN's communications technology ecosystem, including the systems and workflows that power OFN's website, email marketing, digital campaigns, audience engagement, analytics, and reporting.

Reporting to the SVP, Strategic Communications, the role serves as the team's primary technical operator: managing platform administration, website publishing, user access and credentials, vendor support, analytics, KPI dashboards, performance reporting, digital asset management, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. Distinct from OFN's content and marketing functions, the role ensures the underlying platforms, data, and processes are stable, secure, documented, and measurable, and establishes the operational foundation for OFN's future digital engagement function.

OFN is the nation's leading investment intermediary and network of CDFIs serving rural, urban, and Native communities across the United States. With over $1 billion in total assets under management, OFN manages a national membership network of over 490 mission-driven lenders and CDFIs, including community development loan funds, credit unions, green banks, community development banks, minority depository institutions, and venture capital funds. OFN is a trusted investment partner to the public, private, and philanthropic sectors — foundations, corporations, banks, government agencies, and others. For more than 40 years, our team has helped partners invest in communities to catalyze change and create economic opportunities for people and places traditional finance doesn't reach.

  • Passion for the mission and true believer in our core purpose.
  • Courage to be a fearless advocate who is confident and resilient in our fight to drive capital into low-income communities.
  • Smart, quick seekers of knowledge who thrive on creating and developing new strategies, products, and programs for increasing capital to communities we serve.
  • Desire to be a collaborative team player who possesses humility and a willingness to lean in all areas of our work.

Come be a part of our growing diverse, highly committed, skilled, and collaborative staff. At OFN, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive workplace, so if you are excited about this role but your experience does not align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply nonetheless. You may be the right candidate for this or other roles.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Governance

  • Own day-to-day administration and operational health of OFN's communications platforms, including website CMS, email, analytics, social, media monitoring, creative, event, project management, and AI-enabled tools; lead platform workstreams such as enhancements, integrations, migrations, and automation.
  • Maintain platform governance, including the technology inventory, system owners, backup administrators, vendor contacts, licenses, renewals, permissions, and documentation; manage onboarding, offboarding, and role-based access with Technology, reducing single points of failure.
  • Diagnose and resolve two-factor authentication, permission, account recovery, integration, and deliverability issues, escalating to vendors, Technology, security, or leadership as appropriate; maintain SOPs, training resources, escalation paths, and continuity plans.

Website & Digital Properties

  • Serve as primary hands-on administrator for OFN's website and digital properties; publish and maintain pages, landing pages, forms, metadata, navigation, redirects, and assets in the CMS; define requirements, test solutions, and coordinate complex development with external web partners.
  • Conduct quality assurance for website changes (links, forms, mobile display, accessibility, search visibility, accuracy); monitor site health and performance; support governance, content lifecycle, SEO, accessibility, taxonomy, and user experience improvements.

Email & Campaign Operations

  • Administer OFN's email marketing platform, templates, user access, audience data, segmentation, preference management, archives, and reporting; build or support technically complex campaigns, automations, forms, integrations, and audience journeys.
  • Troubleshoot deliverability, authentication, data, template, and rendering issues; maintain disciplined QA covering audiences, links, subject lines, personalization, and approvals; improve email and audience workflows through documentation, automation, and testing.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Partner with Communications leadership to define and maintain KPIs, targets, reporting cadences, dashboard definitions, and source-of-truth data; maintain analytics implementation across web, email, campaigns, social, search, and media channels.
  • Build and improve executive-ready dashboards; own monthly, quarterly, campaign, and ad hoc performance reporting; write concise narratives that distinguish activity, output, engagement, conversion, and outcomes and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Monitor tagging, tracking, and data quality; investigate anomalies, reconcile conflicting platform data, document methodology, and coordinate fixes when measurement becomes unreliable.

Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as primary day-to-day liaison for communications technology vendors, developers, and platform support teams; manage tickets, upgrades, training, requirements, timelines, and deliverables, holding vendors accountable for timely, effective resolution.
  • Partner with Technology on security, infrastructure, data governance, and procurement while owning communications-specific needs; identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce administrative burden; support annual planning and budgeting for platforms, licenses, and vendors.
  • Serve as the team's internal resource for communications technology, providing technical guidance, platform training, and clear operating standards for staff, consultants, interns, and cross-functional partners.
