The Job:

As a Senior Business Analyst - Product Master Data Processes , you'll be supporting the global product master data program and play a key role in shaping and scaling product master data processes that support new product setup. This role is responsible for defining future-state requirements, preparing build-ready scope for upcoming workstreams and regional expansion, and identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency, data quality, and governance.

This position is best suited for a strong business analyst with experience in process transformation , master data , and cross-functional requirements definition . The role will work closely with product, business, and technology teams to ensure the organization has a steady pipeline of well-defined scope that supports delivery quality, reduces rework, and improves readiness for scale. You'll get to:

Future-State Requirements and Scope Definition

  • Lead or co-lead requirements gathering for upcoming product master data workstreams and regional expansion efforts
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders to define future-state workflows, process changes, and business rules
  • Ensure scope is sufficiently defined and ready to transition into build planning and delivery

Process Design and Improvement

  • Co-own identification of process improvement opportunities across in-flight and launched workstreams
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve speed, usability, governance, and data quality
  • Help shape future-state process designs that are scalable, practical, and aligned to business priorities
  • Support simplification and standardization of product master data processes across teams and regions

Stakeholder Engagement and Business Alignment

  • Work independently with cross-functional stakeholders to gather input, clarify needs, and align on requirements
  • Support business discussions related to process design, regional nuances, and rollout readiness
  • Communicate requirements, decisions, and process impacts clearly across business and delivery teams
  • Bring forward thoughtful recommendations and constructive challenges when opportunities for improvement are identified

Delivery Readiness Support

  • Support creation and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria, and related documentation
  • Support prioritization discussions by helping distinguish MVP scope from future enhancements
  • Provide support to delivery teammates when needed, including requirements clarification and feedback translation
  • Contribute to change management and training support activities where appropriate

Quality and Continuous Improvement

  • Help improve the speed and quality of the requirements-to-build cycle
  • Reduce defects and rework by strengthening requirements clarity and process definition
  • Support stronger backlog quality through structured requirements and cleaner handoffs into delivery
  • Contribute to a repeatable operating model for scaling product master data processes globally

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and future-state definition
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting process transformation or business process improvement initiatives
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working across cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while partnering closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing structured data.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data import/export processes, including integrations and ETL workflows.
  • Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or JDA.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for developing clear, professional presentations to communicate analysis, recommendations, or project updates.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting product master data or related business processes
  • 2+ years of experience supporting global or regional rollout efforts
  • 2+ years of experience identifying and shaping process improvement opportunities
  • Familiarity with workflow-driven business processes and digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting backlog, story, or delivery-readiness activities in partnership with product or technology teams
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experienced in MS Office Suite.

The Salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $144,900.00

  • This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
