ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is looking for a Sr. Category Manager, Indirect Sourcing & Procurement to join our Global Procurement team. This individual manages the overall direction-process and spend associated with Peloton’s purchases for assigned categories. This role will be accountable for building strong relationships with business stakeholders and partnering with them to establish a cohesive supplier portfolio and spend category strategies based on business needs - market segmentation assessments, supplier spend and concentration analyses, total cost modeling across different functions and regions for multiple categories purchases to enable timely and efficient growth of our business including identifying business requirements and specifications, developing and implementing sourcing strategies, conducting cost evaluations, managing RFx, and leading contract negotiations for all assigned categories and drive execution of the objectives aligned with Peloton's goals. Must be results-driven about business cost reduction, revenue increasing initiatives, aggregating supplier volume/reducing price, and identifying new opportunities. Work closely with team leads, budget owners, and leadership throughout the assigned categories.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

Actively support the development of sourcing strategies using Peloton global spend where possible, translate strategy into objectives/action plans, and drive execution of the objectives for logistics and distribution categories aligned with the business/sourcing strategy and company goals

Optimize total direct and indirect costs for the business while collaborating with stakeholders of assigned categories

Lead sourcing efforts and direct the execution of effective cost saving initiatives

Effectively lead/project manage cross-functional teams through RFP process including requirements definition, bid/negotiations, contract documentation, and integration ensuring appropriate approvals are acquired

Support the scaling of Peloton’s capabilities by finding opportunities for efficiencies and operational improvements

Responsible for commercial terms negotiations of price, terms, and the scope of services, etc.

Ensure sourcing and other procurement activity is aligned with SOX and appropriate internal Peloton controls for segregation of duties and appropriate fiduciary controls

Develop and direct the execution of effective cost savings initiatives

Effective communication of cost savings initiatives through leadership participation and reporting

Conduct and manage logistics provider Quarterly Business Reviews for top providers

Align closely with trade compliance function to ensure providers are following international trade laws and Peloton policies

Implement and supervise process improvements, training, and talent development

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

Over 6+ years specific to Indirect Procurement such as Logistics/Transportation, Marketing, Technology categories

Relevant education or equivalent work experience in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field of study

Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships, set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that improve organizational efficiency

Highly results-oriented with a successful record of accomplishments

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills - the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex topics

Flexibility to respond to evolving requirements and multifaceted priorities in a fast-paced project environment

You should have the ability to balance multiple projects at various phases

Ability to work both tactically and strategically in a team-oriented, collaborative environment to meet the needs of the business

Act as a self-starter and great teammate and hold a customer-first approach

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range

$168,750 — $207,300 USD
