IQVIA is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Project Manager or Clinical Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of clinical trials that help bring innovative therapies to patients faster. This role is designed for established project leaders who can combine operational excellence, strategic thinking, and strong client partnership skills to lead complex clinical studies from start-up through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of global and multi-regional clinical studies from startup through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement integrated study management plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive study delivery while optimizing timelines, quality, and budget performance.
  • Provide strategic leadership for project teams, setting objectives and ensuring accountability for key milestones.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate study status, metrics, and key updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, and study-specific requirements.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal development and bid defense presentations.
  • Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, budget management, and scope change management.
  • Mentor and support the development of project team members while fostering collaboration across functions and regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and promoting best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience , including at least 4 years of clinical project management experience .
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial conduct, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and global drug development processes.
  • Experience managing small to medium, full-service, multi-country, and/or multi-regional clinical studies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and scope changes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $68,400.00 - $232,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
