Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Operations Associate to join our growing AML team and play a vital role in executing day-to-day account activity monitoring and screening.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of day to day to transaction flows, including monitoring, screening and investigations
Actively assist in enhancing and refreshing the monitoring process and controls
Analyse situations to identify AML issues and red flags, gaps and risks in KYC information and transactions
Collaborate with counterparties to ensure AML controls executed properly on timely manner
As the subject matter expert on AML, support businesses with timely advice on AML related matters
Enable business growth whilst balancing risk awareness and manage money laundering and fraud risks
Keeping abreast of changes to regulatory requirements and emerging risks in this in an evolving regulatory landscape
Requirements & Qualifications
University degree or equivalent higher education qualification
6+ years of relevant experience in operational compliance or AML-focused roles within payment services, the MSB/MSO industry, or the banking sector
CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable
High proficiency with emerging technological solutions, compliance tooling, and data analysis systems
Strong technical knowledge and sensitivity regarding risk and regulatory compliance matters in the cross-border payments industry
Demonstrates commercial acumen and sound decision-making abilities
Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in an Asian language is advantageous
Proactive team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment alongside a diverse international team
