Select material forms, processes, tooling approaches, design details, and inspection strategies consistent with production rate, quality, weight, cost, and schedule
Define composite-metallic interfaces, environmental protection, drainage, lightning-protection integration, damage-tolerance features, and repair provisions
Work with Stress, Structures Design, Loads, Materials and Processes, Manufacturing, Quality, NDT, Test, suppliers, and team counterparts
Support coupon, element, subcomponent, and full-scale test planning and translate results into design improvements
Create configuration-controlled CAD, drawings, specifications, trade studies, and design-review material

Five or more years of composite structural design or closely related aerospace product-development experience

Must be a US Person to be considered for the role
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
Transport-aircraft wing, fuselage, empennage, control-surface, pylon, or nacelle composite experience
Experience with composite allowables, certification building-block tests, NDT, environmental durability, lightning protection, or structural repair
Experience supporting production introduction and supplier technical management
