About Candor Health

Candor Health offers a suite of AI-native provider data management solutions that tackle healthcare's data accuracy problem at its core. The result: fragmented, error-prone records become a reliable, continuously verified asset. By synthesizing 120,000+ sources and processing four billion claims monthly, Candor Health strengthens operational workflows around network optimization, credentialing, compliance, and near-real-time provider search. The result helps health plans, digital health companies, and health systems move from reactive fixes to proactive strategy. Backed by an internal validation team and a genuine client-first partnership model, our solutions turn provider data into a lasting strategic asset that strengthens networks and builds trust.

Life at Candor

At Candor Health, everyone is a leader. The areas you own are yours to build and progress. Best ideas win! We value a culture where the team not only enjoys working together solving some of the biggest data challenges in the healthcare industry, but also has fun doing it. Building a great company is hard work but work-life balance is also important.

About the Role

As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you'll own Candor Health's health plan clients from kickoff through go-live and beyond. You'll lead implementations end-to-end, then drive adoption, retention, and expansion post-live, helping plans improve directory accuracy, network adequacy, and internal workflows.

This is not only a traditional relationship management role. You'll dig into the data, own technical questions, and turn findings into clear business stories for audiences from analysts to executives. You bring health plan experience and know how a payer actually uses provider data.

Responsibilities

Implementation & Onboarding

  • Lead new health plan implementations end-to-end: scoping, success criteria, timelines, and go-live
  • Manage client data onboarding (rosters, provider directory files, etc.), partnering with Engineering and Product to resolve data and integration issues
  • Hold internal and client teams accountable to milestones, surfacing risks early and driving to time-to-value

Health Plan Partnership & Advisory

  • Serve as primary point of contact for your book of health plan clients (both during implementation and post-live), leading calls independently and driving action items to closure
  • Act as a strategic advisor: understand each plan's goals and translate Candor Health's data into narratives tied to their priorities
  • Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and navigate complex payer organizations

Data Fluency & Technical Ownership

  • Build deep knowledge of Candor Health's platform, data structures, and sources so you can field most client questions yourself
  • Investigate data questions independently: replicate issues, own triage, and surface actionable insights

Account Health & Growth

  • Own client health across your portfolio, tracking risks, milestones, and open items
  • Possess a deep understanding of your clients’ business goals and strategic priorities, and effectively communicate where Candor Health’s solutions bring value
  • Run business reviews and partner with Sales to drive retention, expansion, and upsell

Product Feedback & Enablement

  • Bring client feedback to Product to shape enhancements and influence roadmap
  • Contribute to documentation and enablement resources that help clients get full value from Candor Health's data

Qualifications

Required

  • 6+ years in client-facing implementation, customer success, or technical account management roles
  • 3+ years working with or within health plans/payers
  • Working knowledge of how health plans use provider data: provider directories, network management, credentialing, and directory accuracy requirements
  • A track record of leading complex, data-heavy implementations end-to-end
  • A record of managing high-value accounts and exceeding retention and expansion targets
  • Strong analytical and data investigation skills: you interpret trends, spot anomalies, and draw conclusions
  • Advanced Excel, plus daily use of AI tools to drive productivity and insight
  • Experience with Jira, Google Workspace, and Slack

Preferred

  • Experience with health systems or digital health companies
  • Comfort writing basic data queries or working directly with structured data

How You Work

  • Proactive owner. You close the loop without being asked and run toward problems.
  • Strong project manager. You set timelines, juggle competing priorities, and keep clients and internal teams aligned.
  • Clear communicator. You tell a compelling data story to an engineer or a C-suite audience, with executive presence.
  • Self-sufficient learner. You take organized notes, ask good questions, and build your own product and industry knowledge.
  • Empathetic but direct. You advocate for clients internally while setting clear expectations externally.
  • Entrepreneurial teammate. You bring ideas, not just execution.

This position is remote with occasional travel: quarterly company meetings, visits to our New York City office, and occasional on-site client meetings.
