Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer . As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines that enable efficient data processing, analytics, and business decision-making. We are looking for a professional with strong expertise in Python, SQL, cloud technologies, and modern data engineering practices.

Qualifications

• •Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL (mandatory) - minimum 4 years
• •Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (mandatory)
• •Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines
• •Strong knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles
• •Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes
• •Proficiency with Apache Spark and distributed data processing frameworks
• •Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Flink, or similar
• •Solid understanding of data warehousing, database design, and large-scale processing systems
• •Experience implementing data quality, integrity, and monitoring controls
• •Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance best practices
• •Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• •Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• •Native Portuguese speaker and English proficiency at B2 level or above

Responsibilities

• •Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines
• •Develop, test, and maintain data architectures, databases, and large-scale processing systems
• •Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
• •Create, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation
• •Implement and manage data ingestion processes from multiple internal and external data sources
• •Monitor data pipelines and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across platforms
• •Optimize data systems and processing frameworks to maximize performance, scalability, and reliability
• •Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide support for data infrastructure and platform needs
• •Apply data governance principles and maintain data models aligned with business requirements

Nice to Have

• •Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• •Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics
