Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Debug Engineer located in Prai, Penang .

What a typical day looks like:

• •Understands conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
• •Prepares technical summary reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
• •Interfaces and confers with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
• •Uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software for examination purpose.
• •Allocates defect causes to the various sources e.g. process, material, and prepares reports for follow other involved like quality, purchasing, SQA.
• •Interferes with floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
• •Resolves test yield problems by performing investigation of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• •Evaluate and configure digital circuits using Field programable Gate Array (FPGA) and Ball Grid Array (BGA).
• •Resolves failures from Point of origin / point of detection.
• •Evaluates and interprets test data and product performance with proper evidence of design related Failure Analysis Report.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• •Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• •Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in related functions.
