Senior Design Engineer

Work Flexibility: Onsite

What you will do-

• •Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software (preferably Creo).
• •Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions.
• •Generate manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.
• •Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies.
• •Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures; Transfer and translate drawings from one computer system to another as needed.
• •Will provide CAD training to others and execute routing design projects, to include stack up analysis, part design, and related tasks.
• •Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and fit requirements Prepare engineering change notices (ECN/ECO) and revision updates
• •Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, BOMs, and design records and ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
• •Support prototype development and design validation; cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will need-

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.
• •Experience- 5 years- 7 years
• •Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and mechanical design principles.
• •Experience designing both plastic and metal components and proficient in CAD tools : Creo Parametric

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill and Teamcenter.
• •Knowledge of product lifecycle management and configuration control.
• •Exposure to consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, automotive, or aerospace products.
