Job Summary

Jabil, Inc. is seeking a strategic Senior Director of Electrical Engineering to lead electrical architecture, platform strategy, and execution across server and infrastructure products. This role will set long-term technical direction and ensure high-performance, cost-effective, scalable solutions from concept through mass production while aligning global engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, customers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• •Define the electrical engineering detailed roadmap, system architecture, standards, and multi-generation platform strategy.
• •Lead electrical design across power delivery, high-speed interfaces, analog/digital circuitry, embedded systems, PCB design, signal integrity, and related technologies.
• •Oversee the full development lifecycle from architecture, simulation, and prototyping through validation, qualification, manufacturing introduction, and mass production.
• •Ensure technical, schedule, cost, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and business objectives are achieved while identifying and mitigating risks.
• •Lead and develop global engineering teams and technical leaders, strengthening organizational capability and technical excellence.
• •Drive alignment across engineering, product, manufacturing, supply chain, customer, supplier, and industry-partner teams.
• •Evaluate new technologies, tools, AI, automation, and processes that improve product competitiveness, engineering efficiency, reuse, and scalability.
• •Manage engineering resources, priorities, budgets, and timelines across major initiatives.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• •16+ years of electrical engineering design in server, hyperscale, cloud, data center, networking, or infrastructure platforms,
• •12+ years in engineering management roles
• •Proven experience leading complex electrical products from architecture through high-volume production and defining system-level strategy, standards, and roadmaps.
• •Broad knowledge of circuit design, power delivery, embedded systems, PCB design, high-speed interfaces, signal integrity, system integration, DFM/DFT, qualification, and reliability.
• •Proven ability to lead and influence global teams and senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• •Strong communication, customer engagement, decision-making, project/resource management, and problem-solving skills.
• •Ability to travel up to 20% including internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Advanced degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• •Experience with hyperscale/cloud customers, large-scale manufacturing, and reusable platform strategies.
• •Knowledge of open server/data-center hardware standards and experience with engineering automation, simulation, and continuous improvement.
