At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
The Senior District Manager leads a quota-carrying field sales team focused exclusively on winning net-new Digital Native accounts: cloud-first startups, scale-ups, and technology-led businesses born in the cloud and running their entire business on data and AI. You will hire, coach, and scale a team that wins these logos early and sets them up for long-term consumption growth.
AS A SENIOR DISTRICT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
Build and lead a high-performing acquisition sales team that wins net-new Digital Native logos, from venture-backed startups to high-growth scale-ups
Coach your account executives on consumption-based selling, helping them land new accounts and expand usage of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud through new use cases
Develop territory and account strategy for a Digital Native segment, prioritizing accounts with the highest data and AI consumption potential
Partner with your team on complex sales cycles: effective POCs, executive and CxO engagement, and multi-threaded champion development
Collaborate with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Partner teams to produce a focused go-to-market proposition for cloud-first companies
Build an in-region partner network across SIs and ecosystem partners such as the major cloud providers and modern data stack vendors
Own and exceed your team's monthly, quarterly, and annual new-business targets, and manage accurate forecasting with your Regional Vice President
Create an inclusive, feedback-rich environment where a diverse team of sellers can do the best work of their careers
OUR IDEAL LEADER WILL HAVE:
10+ years of field sales experience, including 3+ years leading a quota-carrying sales team
A track record of winning net-new business, ideally selling to Digital Native, startup, or high-growth technology accounts
Experience selling data, cloud, analytics, or AI/ML solutions in a consumption or usage-based motion
Proven ability to hire, onboard, and develop a diverse team of account executives
Experience coaching sellers through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and seven-figure deals
Strong forecasting discipline and the ability to think strategically about territory design and account prioritization
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with the confidence to engage at the executive level
BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Prior experience carrying or leading a Digital Native, startup, or Enterprise segment at a cloud or SaaS company
Familiarity with the modern data and AI ecosystem and how cloud-first companies build on it
A network within the venture-backed startup and scale-up community
Experience partnering with cloud marketplaces to accelerate acquisition deals
WHY JOIN OUR TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?
Digital Native companies are among the fastest-growing consumers of data and AI in the world, and they are reshaping entire industries from the cloud up. Leading the acquisition team that wins these companies early means you are at the center of the exploding cloud economy, building the customer base that will drive Snowflake's next decade of growth. You will own a greenfield segment, build a team from a position of strength, and watch the logos you land today become tomorrow's flagship customers.
