Collaborating closely with Mechanical Design, Firmware Engineering, Test, and Manufacturing teams, you will optimize your designs for best-in-class performance and reliability while also focusing on minimizing parts count and reducing BOM costs.

### What You’ll Do

  • Design, prototype, build, and test high-voltage battery management electronics for Tesla vehicles and energy products
  • Develop highly automated design validation setups and software to ensure comprehensive test coverage and reduced validation time
  • Launch your designs to mass production
  • Work with top automotive IC manufacturers to co-develop and integrate new technologies into next-generation Tesla Battery Management Systems (BMS)

### What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of hands-on industry experience in analog and digital circuit design
  • Strong analytical, circuit analysis and simulation skills
  • Superb failure analysis and PCBA troubleshooting skills
  • Solid knowledge of Python for test automation and data analysis
  • Experience in one or more areas including battery management systems, power electronics, microcontrollers and high-speed digital interfaces
  • Experience designing RF circuits, antennas, and familiarity with common wireless communication protocols
  • Experience using Altium Designer and LTSpice
  • Experience using mechanical CAD tools (Fusion360, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks), fast prototyping and 3D printing
