The Big Picture

The Electrical Engineer – Power studies will be focused on conducting a wide variety of power studies for the assigned projects while also collaborating closely with cross functional teams to ensure on time delivery of high quality, fully compliant and comprehensive project solutions.

What can you expect as Electrical Engineer?

• •You'll conduct various studies for utility scale solar and/or BESS projects.
• •Load flow, Transient stability, Short circuits, Arc flash, Equipment evaluation, Protection coordination, Harmonics, Lightning risk assessment etc.
• •You'll closely collaborate with the project managers, enabling them to effectively communicate with our customers, utility companies/contractors, administrative/government agencies etc.
• •You'll assist with responding to RFPs, conduct feasibility studies as needed.
• •You'll be innovative and proactive in providing solutions/solution approaches.
• •You'll perform other related duties on special projects as assigned, while working with other teams to ensure clients’ needs and internal deadlines are met.

Essential Qualifications include :

• •Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in electrical engineering
• •3+ years of experience with conducting various power studies, including those listed above.
• •Experience with ETAP, PSCAD.
• •Expertise in technical aspects of Solar Modules, Inverters, mounting systems & BoS.
• •Ability to work under minimal supervision and resolve issues independently based on project/company standards.
• •Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• •Proven record of good judgment and analytical skills.
• •Ability to effectively communicate with engineering, construction, and customer facing teams.

Experience with executing utility scale projects in North America.
