Scrum Master - Responsible for enabling self-organising teams to reach their goals by removing impediments and fostering an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow and relentless improvement.

Senior Engineer - Responsible for designing, developing and testing software modules, ensuring optimal functionality and integration within complex systems. The role demands a combination of in-depth technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-quality software solutions.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Responsibilities - Scrum Master:

• •Enable agile team members to communicate, coordinate, collaborate and drive improvement in practices, processes and mindset to deliver value in an effective manner
• •Support the Product Owner (PO) in applying effective product and backlog management techniques
• •Organise and facilitate the cadence, events and artefacts across the agile team
• •Support the leadership and Agile Coach with OVS ceremonies e.g. Program Increment (PI) Planning and OVS demos
• •Proactively remove obstacles and impediments for the team
• •Resolve conflicts and issues within the agile team
• •Enable organisational effectiveness and continuous improvement through agile ceremonies and an open feedback culture
• •Coach and support agile team members to grow and develop
• •Engage with the Agile Coach and leadership to encourage and empower the agile team
• •Role model and enable the agile behaviours, providing a psychologically safe environment that promotes transparency and constructive challenge

Responsibilities - Senior Engineer:

• •Design, develop, and maintain software modules ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and to ensure alignment of deliverables with business objectives
• •Produce robust software builds from source code, meeting defined performance and security criteria
• •Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to coding standards
• •Conduct system integration tests, diagnose faults, and foster continuous improvement in software robustness and efficiency
• •Utilize the latest development methodologies to innovate and enhance the software delivery process
• •Contribute to architectural and system design decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• •Mentor junior engineers, share software engineering best practices and domain knowledge

YOUR PROFILE

Competencies - Scrum Master:

• •Excellent communication, project management and organisation skills
• •Experience in leveraging Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies, incl. tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• •Ability to proactively solve problems and resolve conflict
• •Understanding of software development and lifecycle
• •Growth-oriented and agile mindset and passionate about change

Competencies - Senior Engineer:

• •Self-Dedication to producing clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on robust software design
• •Proficient in backend and frontend programming languages and deep understanding of software development life cycle
• •Demonstrated knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• •Ability to lead and contribute to the evolution of software engineering standards and practices
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Required Skills:

• •Higher Education in Computer Science (University, University of Applied Sciences or equivalent diploma)
• •Certified on agile project framework e.g. SAFe
• •Very strong communication and planning skills
• •English language skills (written and verbal)
• •Self-motivation to drive initiatives and initiating changes
• •Willingness to bring in new ideas and initiate changes
