Job Summary

• To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Engineer – Sourcing located in Sriperumbudur

What a typical day looks like:

• •Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment’s etc.), confirmation of the order.
• •Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group.
• •Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations
• •Preparation of long-term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
• •Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WO's.
• •Preparing of Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.
• •Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences.
• •Preparing management and CFT specificized reports, monitoring of KPI's.
• •Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.
• •Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• •Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
• •Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs.
• •May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
• •Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
• •Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
• •Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• •Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
• •May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• •Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• •Demonstrates basic people and/or process management skills.
