Position Summary

As the Senior Field Marketing Manager, Events, you will own the strategy and execution of Harness' North America regional field marketing and events portfolio, designing integrated marketing programs that accelerate pipeline, strengthen customer relationships, and elevate the Harness brand across enterprise technology audiences.

This is a strategic, cross-functional role for someone who thinks beyond event logistics. You'll develop investment strategies, identify growth opportunities, and partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Executive Leadership to create experiences that deliver measurable business impact

About the role

Own the strategy, planning, and execution of Harness' North America regional field marketing event portfolio, aligning investments with revenue goals, product launches, and regional go-to-market priorities.

Build scalable event playbooks and operational frameworks that support multiple regions, product lines, and future organizational growth.

Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and recommend event investments based on audience fit, pipeline potential, executive engagement, and business impact.

Develop engagement strategies before, during, and after events to maximize interactions with high-value prospects and customers.

Manage end-to-end event execution, including budget management, vendors, staffing, creative, production, logistics, and onsite operations, while ensuring a consistent and differentiated Harness brand experience.

Track KPIs across engagement, pipeline, revenue influence, and ROI, using performance data and attendee insights to optimize event investments.

Develop post-event recommendations that influence future investments, optimize performance, and improve overall event strategy

About you

Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS field marketing, strategic events, or integrated marketing, with a strong focus supporting enterprise sales organizations.

Strategy: Proven success developing and executing integrated field marketing and event strategies that drive measurable pipeline, revenue, executive engagement, and brand awareness.

Cross Functional Engagement: Experience developing strong relationships with Sales counterparts and partnering cross-functionally with Demand Generation and Product Marketing to execute go-to-market initiatives.

Project Management: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex, high-impact programs simultaneously.

Analytics: Strong experience using performance metrics and insights to optimize marketing investments, measure ROI, and inform strategic decisions.

Event Management: Experience managing marketing budgets, agency relationships, vendors, and event production from planning through execution.

Communication: Outstanding presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, customers, and external partners.

Travel + Pace: Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities and a bias toward action. Ability and willingness to travel 25-30% of the time for on-site event management.
