Job Description

Just imagine turning a complex capital expenditure programme into a trusted financial picture that guides better decisions. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Senior Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the financial management of a major capital expenditure programme. You’ll give management a reliable, independent view of its financial position, strengthen forecast reliability and establish sustainable governance. You’ll also serve as Finance Business Partner for Facilities, supporting planning, performance management and business decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Established a reliable financial baseline for a capital expenditure programme.
  • Partnered with GWP (Global Workplace) to strengthen financial performance and investment decision-making for a capital expenditure programme.
  • Strengthened financial management of complex capital expenditure programmes by identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Influenced business partners to adopt sustainable financial governance and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Managed financial baselines, estimates at completion and remediation actions for capital expenditure investment.
  • Used SAP and Microsoft Office to validate estimates at completion and forecast integrity.
  • Embedded new financial reporting and accountability practices across Finance and Facilities.

What you'll build

  • Establish a trusted baseline that provides an independent view of the programme’s financial position.
  • Validate financial data, estimates at completion and key exposures.
  • Identify financial risks and recovery opportunities, then launch prioritised remediation actions.
  • Improve forecast accuracy, data integrity and the effectiveness of capital expenditure controls.
  • Build a productive Finance partnership with GWP and Facilities and support sound business decisions.

If you’ve worked in a role where you resolved complex capital expenditure issues and strengthened financial controls, you’ll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to take ownership, solve difficult financial problems and turn remediation into lasting improvements.

Life on the team

You’ll join Americas Manufacturing Finance within the Chief Financial Officer organisation and work closely with Global Workplace Projects. In the LEGO® team, we value collaboration and clear accountability. You’ll connect Finance and Facilities, bringing people together around reliable information, practical actions and shared financial priorities.

What success looks like

Within six months, you’ll have established a trusted financial baseline, validated key exposures and launched prioritised remediation. After 12 months, forecast reliability, financial integrity and control effectiveness will show clear improvement. Your progress will be visible through more accurate forecasts, effective risk and recovery actions, stronger controls and high-quality financial support for Facilities.
