About This Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst (Accounting Function) is a skilled and detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting the organization's general ledger accounting and financial reporting needs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and timely provision of financial information, in compliance with the company's reporting policies and systems.

What You'll Do:

Gather and interpret financial information effectively and form data into meaningful and concise analyses while considering a broad range of interdependent issues.

Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the general ledger accounting function.

Maintain and update the general ledger by recording all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and complete recording of financial transactions.

Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

Train and coach finance users in adoption and implementation of analytical tools and address system issues identified by the business stakeholders.

All other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field / CPA preferred.

5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance required.

Solid understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Proficiency in SAP system.

Experience in Blackline reconciliation platform.

Experience in process mapping.

Experience with automation tools.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and statements.

Well-organized and methodical thinker with strong decision-making abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative team environment and effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to influence without authority across divisions and teams to drive process improvements and automation.

Passion for solving complex problems and generating cross-functional solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
