The Opportunity

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Practice Business Partner , you will act as a trusted financial partner to practice managers and regional and senior operations leaders, translating data into insights that help improve performance, strengthen efficiency, and support growth across Dentalcorp’s national network. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Practice Business Partner , you will have the opportunity to build strong cross-functional relationships, bring visibility to key financial trends, and contribute to decisions that support both practice-level success and broader business strategy.

You are confident working with detailed financial data, but equally comfortable partnering with practice managers and operations leaders to explain insights in a clear, practical, and approachable way. You bring strong judgment, business acumen, and a service-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify trends, surface opportunities, and provide thoughtful recommendations that improve performance and support growth. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift, relationships matter, and your work has a direct impact on both practice-level results and broader business strategy.

In This Role, You Will

Financial Analysis, Reporting and Insights:

Analyze practice financial performance, prepare reporting, forecasts, and variance analysis, and translate results into clear, actionable recommendations.

Monitor key metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support improved practice performance.

Business Partnership and Decision Support:

Partner with practice managers and regional and senior operations leaders to understand business priorities, provide financial guidance, and support confident decision-making.

Support budgeting and forecasting in partnership with FP&A and operations leaders, including financial analysis, presentations, and business case support for key initiatives.

Build strong relationships with practices by responding to finance-related support needs, including dc assist tickets, service-level expectations, and annual inventory review requirements.

Process Improvement and Strategic Support:

Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, support operational efficiency, and contribute to strategic initiatives through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven recommendations.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

At least 2 to 3 years experience as a Financial Analyst or Business Partner in a prior finance role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis techniques.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems is required

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 CAD to $95,000 CAD annually (plus a bonus of up to 10% and competitive total rewards and benefits package). Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.

You will be based at our Toronto Support Centre , located at 181 Bay Street in the heart of Toronto’s financial district. This position will be on site from Monday to Thursday, with Fridays designated as work-from-home days.
