Senior Fund Accountant - (M/F)

Forvis Mazars Luxembourg is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join its Fund Services department.

As part of our Fund Services team, you will manage a portfolio of UCIs, primarily focused on Real Estate and Private Equity, overseeing fund accounting, NAV calculations, financial reporting and compliance, while coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of UCIs, mainly specializing in the real estate and private equity sectors.

• •Perform NAV Calculation and provide management accounting services to the administrated UCIs.
• •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the relevant UCIs.
• •Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting frameworks (GAAP, IFRS).
• •Monitor compliance of Funds with applicable laws, regulations, and investment rules as per offering documents.
• •Report directly to the Manager in charge of central administration activities.
• •Prepare reporting packages for the AIFM and the UCIs’ management and governing bodies.
• •Collaborate and facilitate information flow with the transfer agent, depositary bank, AIFM, intermediaries (auditors, notaries, banks), and handle customer inquiries for the smooth operation of the UCI.

Your Profile:

• •Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting with significant professional experience of at least 4 years in a similar position, preferably in Luxembourg.
• •Expertise in the Alternative Funds sector, especially Private Equity and Real Estate.
• •Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP, IFRS, or other accounting principles, and Luxembourg tax regulations.
• •Experience with accounting software is an asset.Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
