Title: Senior GL Accountant

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Key Responsibilities:

• •Own Corporate monthly closures for the assigned entities
• •Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with local accounting and reporting requirements.
• •Manage and coordinate external audit activities, including preparation of audit schedules, provision of supporting documentation, and timely resolution of auditor inquiries.
• •Prepare and submit required statistical reports, ensuring compliance with local reporting deadlines and requirements.
• •Perform account analysis and follow-ups, prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure journal entries and account balances are accurate and complete.
• •Ensure that financial information complies with professional, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• •Drive compliance with statutory accounting regulations and stay abreast of regulatory changes and accounting best practices.
• •Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• •5+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting or a similar accounting role; experience in a matrix organization environment will be considered an advantage.
• •experience in Polish statutory accounting (with exposure to Polish statutory financial statements preparation) preferred.
• •Knowledge of GUS/statistical reporting requirements and compliance obligations.
• •Experience in supporting and coordinating external audits.
• •Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• •Experience with data analytics will be an advantage.
• •Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• •Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• •Fluent English and Polish, including professional business and accounting terminology.
• •Knowledge of ERP systems.
