The Senior Holistic & Therapeutic Yoga Instructor is a highly credentialed wellness professional responsible for designing and delivering advanced, integrative mind-body programs that support physical, emotional, and energetic health. This role blends traditional yoga instruction with specialized holistic therapies, offering a premium experience that differentiates program offerings and supports enhanced participant outcomes.

This instructor leads specialized classes, workshops, and therapeutic sessions that align with strategic wellness initiatives, including chronic disease support, stress reduction, recovery, and whole-person health.

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities:

· Design and deliver multi-disciplinary yoga and wellness classes integrating:

· Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Kundalini Yoga

· Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation practices

· Qigong and energy-based movement

· Facilitate specialty wellness sessions and fee-based programs, including:

· Sound healing and singing bowl therapy

· Guided meditation and mindfulness workshops

· Reiki and energy balancing sessions

· Develop therapeutic programming that supports:

· Stress management and mental wellness

· Chronic illness and recovery populations

· Active older adults and special populations

· Create progressive, outcomes-based class plans that improve participant mobility, strength, relaxation, and

overall wellbeing

· Provide individualized modifications and coaching to ensure accessibility and safety for all participants

· Collaborate with wellness leadership to expand specialty program offerings and drive revenue through unique,

high-value services

· Maintain strong participant engagement, retention, and satisfaction through relationship-building and

personalized attention

· Support marketing and community outreach through demonstrations, events, and workshops

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Required:

· Yoga Alliance RYT-500 Certification

· Extensive training in multiple yoga disciplines: o Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini Yoga

· Certification in Pranayama, Meditation, and Yoga Philosophy

· Demonstrated experience teaching diverse populations and skill levels

Preferred / Specialized Credentials:

· Holistic Health Practitioner certification

· Certified Health Coach

· Qigong Instructor certification

· International training experience (e.g., Nepal yoga training)

· Aerial Yoga Certification

· Reiki Master certification

· Sound Healing / Singing Bowl Therapy certification

· Meditation facilitation certification

Work Environment:

· Leads group classes, workshops, and private sessions

· May support special events, community wellness programs, and signature offerings

· Works collaboratively with wellness, fitness, and program leadership teams
