  • Design reusable integration patterns across enterprise data, metadata, governance, and data quality platforms.
  • Define API contracts, data mappings, ETL workflows, interface specifications, and integration standards to support scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Develop APIs, integration services, automation scripts, and ETL pipelines to support data governance and data management processes.
  • Automate metadata ingestion, synchronization, scanning, profiling, validation, and data quality workflows.
  • Design event-driven and scheduled automation solutions for onboarding and processing new data assets.
  • Establish reusable patterns for authentication, monitoring, logging, exception handling, reconciliation, and recovery.
  • Develop reference implementations and reusable components that can be extended across multiple business use cases.
  • Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical designs, integration documentation, tooling guides, and operational runbooks.
  • Conduct technical design and code reviews, providing guidance and technical direction to other engineers.
  • Apply engineering best practices, including CI/CD, Git, automated testing, deployment, and operational support.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions while balancing strategic architecture with hands-on development and delivery.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Experience with enterprise application integration, data integration, or integration engineering.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, JSON-based integrations, OAuth, and API contracts.
  • Experience with Python, Java, or similar development languages.
  • Experience with ETL architecture and development, SQL, and modern data platforms.
  • Experience with data quality profiling, validation, rule execution, and monitoring.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and deployment practices.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 7–10+ years of experience in integration engineering, data engineering, automation, or solution architecture.
  • A strong combination of technical design, solution architecture, and hands-on development experience.
  • Experience integrating metadata management, data catalog, and data lineage capabilities.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and workflow-based automation.
  • Experience establishing integration standards and reusable architectural patterns across enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, exception management, reconciliation, recovery, and operational support.
  • Strong technical documentation skills, including architecture diagrams, technical designs, integration specifications, and runbooks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and business teams and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
