Senior Java Developer

What success looks like in this role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and application security. The candidate should also have practical exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and AI-assisted software development.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, test, and support scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• •Participate across the complete SDLC, from requirements and design through deployment and production support.
• •Troubleshoot application issues and remediate SAST, SCA, and DAST security vulnerabilities.
• •Collaborate with Architects, SMEs, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
• •Perform code reviews and ensure secure coding, performance, quality, and maintainability.
• •Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation.
• •Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, documentation, and developer productivity.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Skills:

• •6+ years of experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• •Strong experience with Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• •Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker.
• •Good understanding of application security, debugging, and performance tuning.
• •Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI-assisted development.
• •Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI/OpenAI, Spring AI, or LangChain4j is preferred.
• •Experience with Azure/AWS and Agile/Scrum is an added advantage
