About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer - Network Protocol & Automation Testing with experience in telecom and broadband product testing, automation framework development, and release qualification. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python automation, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols, NMS/EMS platforms, CI/CD environments, and telecom access technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• •Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, and Shell Scripting.
• •Perform manual and automated testing of telecom, networking, broadband, NMS, and EMS products. •
• •Validate networking protocols including TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, PPPoE, LACP, IGMP, and TR-069. •
• •Test device management interfaces and protocols such as CLI, SNMP, NETCONF, and REST APIs.
• •Execute and automate functional, integration, interoperability, regression, performance, load, scalability, and stability testing.
• •Support CI/CD-driven testing and release qualification using Jenkins, Git, and related tools.
• •Work with broadband technologies including DSL, VDSL, GPON, XGS-PON, OLT, ONT, and G.fast.
• •Investigate customer issues, perform root-cause analysis, validate fixes, and ensure product quality.
• •Utilize network analysis and traffic-generation tools such as Wireshark, Spirent, and IXIA.

What We're Looking For

• •5-10 years of experience in telecom, networking, or broadband product testing.
• •Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols and network validation methodologies.
• •Proven experience in test automation framework development and Python-based scripting.
• •Hands-on experience with NMS/EMS platforms.
• •Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in Agile and CI/CD environments.
• •Exposure to virtualization and cloud-based test environments is a plus.
