All About the Role:

Electrolux Group's Sales teams take a holistic approach to commercial customer relationships, identifying and leveraging opportunities throughout the consumer journey, with a strong focus on in-store conversion and e-commerce. Operating in a dynamic environment and driven by continuous improvement, the Sales teams proactively engage across all channels to help Electrolux achieve stronger business results while prioritizing consumer satisfaction and delivering extraordinary experiences.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Local Category Manager you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for the category under their responsibility (Major Domestic Appliances) and, ensuring the achievement of volume, market share, and profitability targets. Leads the development and implementation of category management plans, including product launches, innovation initiatives, and commercial strategies based on a deep understanding of consumers, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes. Works cross-functionally to drive category growth, ensuring the effective execution of strategies and the continuous identification of business opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

• •Define and execute the category strategy for Major Domestic Appliances (MDA), driving growth, profitability, and market share.
• •Manage the product portfolio, including assortment, lifecycle management, and category positioning.
• •Lead product launches and innovation initiatives aligned with consumer and market needs.
• •Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• •Develop pricing and commercial strategies to maximize sales performance and profitability.
• •Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to ensure effective execution.
• •Drive category performance through business planning, forecasting, and KPI management.
• •Define distribution and channel strategies to optimize product availability and market penetration.
• •Identify portfolio gaps and recommend actions to strengthen category competitiveness.
• •Lead cross-functional projects and influence key stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

As part of our continuous improvement culture, you will participate in Lean Thinking projects and initiatives (EMS / EAI).

Who are you

• •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• •Fluent English and would be nice some knowledge in portuguese
• •Solid experience in Category Management, Product Management, Marketing, Commercial, or Business Development roles within consumer goods, durable goods, electronics, appliances, or related industries
• •Proven experience managing product portfolios, product launches, pricing strategies, and category growth initiatives
• •Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development
• •Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis
• •Strong project and people management, strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• •Availability to work in a hybrid model and travel as needed
