Senior Maintenance Technician | Night Shift

• Starting Pay: $30.00/hour + Night Shift Premium | Pay Based on Experience
• Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Location: Owatonna, MN

Viracon is continuously hiring experienced Senior Maintenance Technicians to join our night shift team in Owatonna, MN.

What You’ll Do

• •Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
• •Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other maintenance repairs
• •Diagnose equipment issues and identify the root cause of problems
• •Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently
• •Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
• •Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic equipment
• •Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• •Install, modify, and maintain machinery and equipment
• •Assist with equipment improvements and maintenance projects
• •Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to the team
• •Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• •Work independently while also supporting the maintenance team and production operations

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for experienced maintenance professionals who are:

• •Experienced in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• •Strong troubleshooters who can diagnose and repair equipment issues
• •Experienced with electrical and mechanical systems
• •Comfortable working independently and making maintenance decisions
• •Able to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
• •Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• •Dependable and safety focused
• •Willing to work a 12 hour overnight shift

Qualifications

• •Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
• •Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems preferred
• •Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and other industrial equipment preferred
• •Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• •Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around manufacturing equipment
• •Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening, including marijuana
• •Must be available to work the assigned 12 hour night shift

Night Shift Schedule

• The night shift works a 12 hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM .
• - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday-
• - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday

This schedule provides consistent hours while giving you every other weekend off.
