About the role:

Join our CFO Advisory Services team and work with clients to transform and optimise their finance functions through process improvement, automation, accounting advisory and audit readiness initiatives.

Working across a diverse range of industries, you'll partner with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges, enhance financial reporting and drive operational efficiency. This role offers exposure to high-impact projects, opportunities to lead engagements and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, while developing expertise across finance transformation, accounting advisory, technology solutions and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities: -

• •Plan and deliver finance function transformation and accounting advisory projects across a range of clients delivering process optimisation and outcomes that exceed expectations.
• •Develop self and team through coaching and client experiences, creating a collaborative, innovative and inclusive environment for learning.
• •Demonstrate strong collaboration and project management capabilities, report writing and use of technology skills in delivering projects
• •Build strong relationships, both with clients and across the firm, as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders with the ability to tailor solutions to meet their needs
• •Contribute to business development initiatives including priority account planning, development of new offerings, thought leadership and proposals
• •Assist with co-ordination of the CFO Advisory Services team including but not limited to resourcing, training, recruitment and development of internal relationships

About you:

Bachelor degree or equivalent in accounting, commerce or finance

CA qualification or equivalent professional qualification

5-8 years' experience accounting or finance experience in professional services or commerce with demonstrated ability to lead and deliver high quality projects

• •Proven finance transformation and automation, reporting tools automation, financial reporting, management accounting, data extraction, project management and accounting advisory or similar experience
• •Strong communication, critical thinking and presentation skills – able to clearly articulate the issue, risks and opportunity clearly
• •Collaborative, working effectively within teams, developing self and others to expand skillset
• •Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting standards, controls and relevant regulatory requirements
• •Self motivated, ethical and dependable
• •Use of Microsoft Suite including CoPilot, Excel, Power Point and Word

Desirable

Business development exposure

Power BI, Power Automate and Power Query, Alteryx, AI, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle and other ERP experience
