POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Digital Products will lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of Republic Services' comprehensive digital product portfolio. The incumbent oversees a team of Digital Product, Content, and Design Managers responsible for all customer-facing digital platforms including websites, e-commerce solutions, mobile applications, customer portals, chatbot, and service-related communications & alerts. The Senior Manager, Digital Products is accountable for creating and maintaining product roadmaps, making critical prioritization decisions, and ensuring development efforts align with business objectives while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The incumbent balances innovation, technical feasibility, and business value to drive digital transformation across the organization.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and own the comprehensive digital product strategy and roadmaps across all customer-facing platforms, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
Oversee the entire digital product portfolio, making high-level prioritization decisions that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance. Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards.
Make strategic decisions about resource allocation across digital initiatives to maximize impact and ROI.
Present proposals, roadmaps, and results to executive leadership, translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
Orchestrate collaboration between IT, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive digital experiences.
Partner with IT leadership to develop a technology strategy that supports scalable, secure, and innovative digital solutions.
Develop and manage budgets for digital product development and ongoing optimization.
Establish comprehensive KPI frameworks to measure digital product performance and guide strategic decisions.
Create processes for identifying, evaluating, and implementing emerging technologies and digital trends that could enhance customer experience.
Oversee relationships with key technology vendors and partners to maximize value and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Lead organizational change initiatives related to digital transformation, ensuring adoption and utilization of new digital capabilities.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term digital product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Proven track record of successfully leading and developing product management teams.
Experience managing complex digital product portfolios with competing priorities and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of business fundamentals and ability to translate customer and business needs into product requirements.
Understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and development methodologies.
Experience using analytics and customer insights to inform product decisions and measure outcomes.
Exceptional ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and build consensus in a matrix organization.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and driving organizational change.
Understanding of environmental services industry or similar B2B/B2C business models
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
7-10 years of digital product management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing product teams.
Demonstrated experience creating and executing digital product roadmaps for customer-facing applications.
Strong background in Agile methodologies and modern product development practices.
Experience with digital analytics platforms, A/B testing, and data-driven optimization.
Track record of successful digital product launches that delivered measurable business results.
This is an in-office position. Must currently reside in the metro Phoenix area.
Onsite work 4 days / remote work 1 day per week.
