We're seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise AI Platform to lead the evolution and adoption of enterprise AI capabilities across our business. In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee a team of AI Product Owners aligned to key internal business value streams, helping shape how AI agents, copilots, automation, and emerging technologies are incorporated into enterprise workflows. You will serve as the connective tissue between strategy, product, engineering, architecture, and executive leadership, ensuring AI investments are technically sound, responsibly governed, and aligned to business outcomes.
This role requires a unique combination of deep AI platform expertise, strategic influence, and people leadership. You will guide technical decisions, evaluate emerging AI technologies and vendors, establish scalable governance standards, and develop a high-performing team focused on accelerating AI adoption across the organization. If you're passionate about translating rapidly evolving AI capabilities into meaningful business transformation and leading teams at the forefront of enterprise innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of AI Product Owners supporting multiple enterprise value streams, providing coaching, strategic direction, and execution support to maximize business impact.
- Define and evangelize the technical vision, governance framework, and operating model for Blackbaud's internal AI platform, ensuring scalable and responsible adoption across the organization.
- Partner with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and technology teams to prioritize AI opportunities and align investments with enterprise objectives.
- Guide the design and implementation of AI-powered agents, copilots, and workflow automation solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by evaluating emerging AI capabilities, platforms, and market trends, translating technical developments into actionable recommendations.
- Establish best practices, standards, and governance models for enterprise AI development, including agent architecture, model selection, integration patterns, and operational controls.
- Lead cross-functional planning efforts, including strategic roadmaps, portfolio prioritization, and readiness assessments for new AI capabilities.
- Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate technical approaches, integration strategies, and platform scalability requirements.
- Build organizational AI capability by mentoring product, technical, and business stakeholders while supporting enablement programs, communities of practice, and champion networks.
- Assess and recommend enterprise AI platforms, tools, and vendor solutions based on technical merit, business value, security requirements, and long-term strategic fit.
What We'll Want You to Have
- 8+ years of experience in product management, platform strategy, enterprise technology, or related leadership roles, including experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence technologies, including large language models (LLMs), generative AI applications, agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI adoption.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that span product, engineering, architecture, operations, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of AI platform architecture, APIs, integration patterns, governance frameworks, and enterprise-scale deployment considerations.
- Experience evaluating and implementing enterprise AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, Anthropic Claude, Salesforce Agentforce, IBM Watson Orchestrate, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
- Knowledge of responsible AI practices, security, compliance, risk management, and governance considerations within large organizations.
