NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics and accelerated computing for more than 30 years. We are now reinventing graphics with AI. Advances in graphics system software, compute graphics, and neural rendering are expanding what GPUs can deliver across visual computing, robotics, and automotive platforms.

We are seeking a deeply technical Senior Engineering Manager to lead our graphics software organization in Finland. You will lead an experienced team delivering graphics system software for automotive and robotics while growing its contributions to NVIDIA’s overall graphics direction. Your scope spans GPU and SoC bring-up, graphics API development, and platform integration, with opportunities to contribute to technologies such as neural shading and Slang. Working with architects and partner teams across NVIDIA, you will define a clear technical strategy and roadmap, and establish the team’s capabilities to deliver the next generation of graphics software. This role combines technical leadership, team development, and execution. You will partner with senior architects and engineering leaders to set focused roadmaps, deliver production-quality software, and develop the skills needed for new graphics opportunities. You will also advance how the team builds software by applying AI-assisted development and agentic automation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and develop a team delivering graphics system software and advancing compute graphics.
  • Own team strategy, roadmaps, priorities, quality, and delivery commitments.
  • Drive execution across GPU and SoC enablement, Vulkan and OpenGL drivers, CUDA-based graphics, platform integration, and production releases.
  • Collaborate with GPU architecture, hardware, research, and platform teams on technical direction and hardware/software co-design.
  • Expand the team’s contributions to NVIDIA’s broader graphics strategy.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leaders while hiring and developing outstanding talent.
  • Improve development, validation, and support through better engineering practices, infrastructure, and AI-assisted and agentic workflows.

What We Need to See:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ overall years of experience in graphics, GPU, or platform engineering, including 4+ years leading engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of GPU architecture, graphics and compute pipelines, and how software interacts with the hardware.
  • Deep expertise in graphics system software, such as drivers, GPU / SoC enablement, shader infrastructure, or graphics/compute APIs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in agentic software development, with a track record of setting a high bar, establishing team expertise, and driving measurable improvements in engineering productivity and software quality.
  • Proven success leading software teams and shipping production-quality systems.
  • Strong technical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • A track record of advancing a graphics technology from early development into production use.
  • Experience shipping production graphics drivers or runtimes for Vulkan, OpenGL, or CUDA-based graphics, or contributing to graphics API design and standardization.
  • Experience with pre-silicon validation and GPU or SoC bring-up.
  • Functional safety experience in automotive or other safety-critical software, including ISO 26262, ASIL requirements, traceability, verification evidence, or safety-qualified releases.
  • A proven track record of delivering engineering programs on schedule and at high quality, including using AI to strengthen planning and delivery.

We are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward‑thinking and creative people in the world working for us. If you're creative and autonomous with a real passion for technology, we want to hear from you.
