Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Purchase to lead and manage the procurement function for our Pune location.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
• •Develop and manage vendor relationships and supplier networks.
• •Handle procurement of construction materials, services, and project requirements.
• •Evaluate vendors, negotiate rates, and ensure competitive pricing.
• •Manage purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and commercial negotiations.
• •Coordinate with Project, Planning, QS, Billing, and Accounts teams for timely material procurement.
• •Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.
• •Monitor purchase costs, budgets, quality, and delivery schedules.
• •Identify new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
• •Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and processes.
• •Lead and mentor the purchase team.

Candidate Requirements

• •15+ years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• •Experience in a contracting/construction firm is mandatory.
• •Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and procurement processes.
• •Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• •Good commercial understanding and decision-making ability.
• •Experience in handling procurement for multiple projects will be preferred.
• •Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills.
