This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager - Specialty Engineer (Welding, Pressure Vessels & Fabrication Capability) based in India.

  • This senior engineering role leads global technical capability across welding, pressure vessels, tanks, piping, materials selection, corrosion prevention, and fabricated capital assets.
  • You’ll help protect major capital investments and manufacturing reliability through early technical input and rigorous problem-solving.
  • The role combines deep engineering expertise with supplier development, capital project support, innovation, and technical standards leadership.
  • You’ll influence projects from design and supplier selection through fabrication, inspection, installation, and start-up.
  • You’ll also identify technologies and practices that can reduce capital cost, lead time, maintenance requirements, and equipment failures.
  • A significant part of the role involves developing internal and external technical capability through training, coaching, communities, and supplier engagement.
  • You’ll lead people and technical resources while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, HSE, R&D, suppliers, and external standards organizations.
