About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Manager - Strategy & Planning to spearhead Scimplify's expansion This is a high-impact role requiring a visionary yet highly operational leader. You will not just be making strategy, but actively rolling up your sleeves to drive cross-functional execution and ensure alignment across teams as we target multiple segments within the Specialty Chemical market.

Key Responsibilities

● Strategy & Cross-Functional Execution: Formulate and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy targeting multiple diverse segments within the Specialty Chemical market. Move beyond strategy creation to hands-on, cross-functional execution, ensuring all departments are aligned and executing seamlessly as per the roadmap.

● Resource Allocation & Planning: Lead comprehensive resource allocation and capacity planning. Ensure the US expansion has the right bandwidth, budget, and operational focus deployed at the right time to meet growth objectives.

● Market Intelligence & Actionable Insights: Maintain a deep, nuanced understanding of the US chemical market landscape. Provide clear, data-backed actionables for resources deployed across different strategic initiatives.

● Performance Tracking & Agility: Establish rigorous performance tracking frameworks. Continuously monitor execution against KPIs and rapidly update the strategy depending on changing market landscapes, competitor responses, and shifting business priorities.

● Governance & Alignment: Build reporting structures and executive dashboards to track the effectiveness of the US expansion, conducting regular strategic review cadences to keep the team running as per the defined strategy.

Required Qualifications

● Pedigree: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from top-tier premier institutions (IIT, IIM, or equivalent global institutions).

● Experience: 5–8 years of overall experience, preferably with a strong background in top-tier Strategy Consulting (MBB, Big 4) or a Corporate Strategy/Founder's Office role.

● Skillset: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and framework-driven thinking capabilities combined with a strong bias for execution.

● Leadership: Proven ability to influence without authority, managing complex cross-functional stakeholder relationships across geographies.
