Description

What We’re Looking For

At Ally Waste, we’re looking for a strong content marketer who can turn marketing goals into clear messaging and finished content. You’ll help shape campaigns, own our organic social presence, and create materials that explain our services and why they matter.

We are looking for someone who brings ideas, makes sound decisions, and carries projects from concept through delivery. You’ll have ownership of your work, with strategic guidance and feedback along the way.

This hands-on individual contributor role reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates across the business. There are no direct reports.

What You’ll Do

  • Own organic social. Plan the calendar, create posts and Canva graphics, and manage scheduling.
  • Find useful stories. Connect with sales and operations to understand customer challenges, learn our services, and gather insights for content.
  • Support customer conversations. Create clear sales materials that explain our services and their value.
  • Bring stories to life through video. Develop concepts and scripts, help capture footage, and edit short videos for social and other marketing content.
  • Keep projects moving. Manage deadlines, gather input, communicate progress, and see work through completion.

  • Creative and organized. You turn ideas into practical plans, follow through, and find better ways to get the work done.
  • An approachable, proactive communicator. You build relationships, earn cooperation, and explain your choices while staying open to feedback.
  • Comfortable with AI and modern marketing tools. You use AI to explore ideas and accelerate drafts, then apply your judgment to verify claims, sharpen messaging, and produce quality content.
  • Confident in Canva. You can create everyday graphics with clear layouts, readable typography, and a consistent brand feel.

You bring approximately 4+ years of relevant experience , with examples of content and projects you’ve developed and delivered independently.

Additional Strengths We Welcome

  • Experience creating polished graphics from scratch.
  • Experience filming and editing short interviews, service footage, or social videos.
  • Experience developing customer stories or case studies.
