Drive OPEX, brownfield, and OEE improvement projects at our Ahmedabad manufacturing site — from scoping through execution — bringing strong technical expertise and a safety-first mindset to boost plant efficiency, reliability, and performance.

What You Will Do

• •Lead brownfield and OPEX mechanical projects across existing plant assets, from scoping and design through equipment procurement, vendor selection, execution, and completion, on time and on budget.
• •Drive OEE improvement initiatives by identifying efficiency gaps, upgrading equipment, and optimizing existing mechanical systems and processes.
• •Develop and review mechanical modification designs, layouts, and drawings for existing plant systems, including piping, equipment upgrades, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• •Review technical offers and participate in vendor evaluations, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and technical bid analysis for upgrade and retrofit projects.
• •Provide technical guidance to the project team, working closely with design consultants, equipment vendors, and site contractors through mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover with minimal production disruption.
• •Prepare project status reports, flag risks early, and drive resolution with management.
• •Ensure all modifications and installations meet design specifications, Ingredion safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• •Develop preventive maintenance plans and spare parts strategies to sustain long-term plant reliability and performance.

What You Will Bring

• •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• •8-12 years of proven project management experience in brownfield/OPEX across projects of varying scale.
• •Engineering experience in manufacturing plant/factory based preferred
• •Background in pharma, specialty chemicals or food & beverage manufacturing preferred.
• •Strong project management planning and problem-solving skills.
• •Working knowledge of MS Project and AutoCAD.
• •Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualification

• •Experience with food manufacturing standards and regulations.
• •Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• •Project management certification.
• •Familiarity with SAP maintenance modules.
