Eka.care is an AI-first healthtech company based in Bengaluru, building the digital infrastructure that connects doctors, patients and health data across India. Our platform spans an EMR used by clinics and hospitals, a personal health record that gives patients a single, portable view of their medical history, and ambient AI tools that turn a consultation into structured clinical documentation without adding to a doctor's workload.

Our medical, engineering and AI teams work side by side, and clinical judgement sits at the centre of how products are designed, evaluated and shipped.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are building a clinical evaluation framework to assess how well AI systems handle real-world medical practice in India. We are looking for an experienced internist to lead the clinical side of this work — someone who can translate everyday clinical reasoning into rigorous, reproducible evaluation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Shape the design and scope of the clinical evaluation framework
- Develop and tailor clinical vignettes grounded in Indian practice
- Build scoring rubrics and contribute to evaluation methodology
- Review and evaluate outputs from large language models (LLMs)
- Curate and quality-check clinical datasets
- Bring your clinical judgement to every stage of the work
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- MBBS + MD (Internal Medicine)
- 3–5 years of clinical experience after MD
- Strong working knowledge of Indian clinical guidelines and practice
- Clear, precise medical writing
- Comfortable with structured, detail-oriented work
Good to have
- Exposure to AI/ML or health tech
- Research or evidence-synthesis experience
- Fluency in an Indian language besides English
ENGAGEMENT
Type: Full-time, 5-month contract, 6 working days (5 days in-office - Saturday WFH)
Clinical practice: Flexibility to continue clinical practice, scheduled around core on-site hours
