About the Job

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer / System Development Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, WPF, XAML, MVVM architecture, desktop application development, REST APIs, SQL/Relational Databases, and Azure DevOps CI/CD .

The role will focus on designing, developing, maintaining, and modernizing scalable desktop applications supporting critical manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, MVVM, data binding, commands, reusable components, clean architecture, debugging, and application performance , along with exposure to modern web/API technologies and DevOps practices.

The role will contribute across the full SDLC, application modernization, desktop and web development, testing, deployment, access control, and governance , while collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• •Analyze business and technical requirements and design, develop, and maintain scalable C#/.NET desktop applications across the full SDLC.
• •Design and develop WPF/XAML applications using MVVM architecture , implementing effective data binding, commands, reusable components, and maintainable application structures.
• •Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs and contribute to modern .NET/web-based applications, including Blazor where required.
• •Apply clean architecture, SOLID principles, reusable design patterns, and object-oriented programming to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
• •Work with SQL/relational databases , including schema design, queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• •Use Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for source control, build, deployment, automation, and release management.
• •Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, unit testing, automation, and production support to ensure application quality and reliability.
• •Drive application modernization initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting MES/manufacturing users .
• •Contribute to access control, security, governance, deployment, and application performance improvements .

What We Seek In You

• •5–10 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET .
• •Strong hands-on experience developing desktop applications using WPF and XAML .
• •Strong understanding and practical implementation of MVVM architecture , including ViewModel design, data binding, commands/commanding, reusable components, and separation of concerns .
• •Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, clean architecture, design patterns, debugging, and problem-solving .
• •Experience with RESTful Web APIs, ASP.NET/.NET Core , and modern web technologies; exposure to Blazor is preferred.
• •Solid understanding of relational database design, SQL schemas, querying, stored procedures, and performance optimization , preferably with SQL Server.
• •Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio .
• •Experience with unit testing, automation, code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution .
• •Understanding of service-oriented architecture, DevOps/deployment automation, application security, and access control .
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good collaboration, communication, stakeholder management, and ownership.
• •BE/ME in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline .

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale WPF desktop applications .
• •Strong practical experience with MVVM frameworks/patterns, XAML, data binding, ICommand/commands, dependency injection, and reusable WPF controls/components .
• •Experience modernizing legacy desktop/.NET applications into modern architectures or web-based platforms.
• •Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and legacy .NET application modernization.
• •Exposure to Blazor and modern frontend frameworks.
• •Experience with broader DevOps/deployment automation and Azure services.
• •Experience supporting applications used in manufacturing, factory, plant, MES, or warehouse environments .
