Senior Network Engineer

In this role you will own the network that keeps Acronis's internal platforms running - the data center fabric, virtualization clusters, corporate sites, and cloud connectivity across Azure, GCP, and AWS. This is the infrastructure our engineering, security, and business teams depend on every day. It is a hands-on engineering role with real autonomy: you will design the changes, implement them, and be the person who understands why the network behaves the way it does.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• •Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure that keeps operations running without interruption.
• •Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues before they reach users.
• •Partner with the Security team to harden the network and respond to emerging threats.
• •Manage remote access and site-to-site VPN, including client-based VPN for a distributed workforce.
• •Run networking for our virtualization clusters (Virtuozzo, oVirt) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• •Coordinate with ISPs and vendors on service issues, escalations, and capacity planning.
• •Plan capacity and hardware lifecycle for corporate sites and data centers, and run changes through proper maintenance windows with tested rollback plans.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• •3-5+ years as a network engineer or administrator in a production environment.
• •Strong command of the TCP/IP stack and network design principles.
• •Hands-on experience with dynamic routing, particularly BGP and OSPF.
• •Experience with switches, routers, and firewalls from enterprise vendors such as Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, or Mikrotik.
• •Practical experience across core technologies: NAT, VLAN, xSTP, LACP, ACLs, QoS, GRE over IPsec, VRF-lite, VRRP, and PBR.
• •Experience with remote access VPN (for example, Cisco AnyConnect on Firepower) and site-to-site VPN.
• •Experience with cloud networking in at least one of Azure, GCP, or AWS.

NICE TO HAVE

• •Network monitoring, logging, and alerting with Zabbix and Loki; IPAM with NetBox.
• •Network virtualization with oVirt or Virtuozzo.
• •Linux administration: shell, DNS (BIND9), DHCP (KEA), nftables/iptables.
• •NetOps tooling - Git, Ansible, Python - and a bias toward automating repeat work.
• •BGP Anycast, IPv6 transition, or Teams Phone experience.
• •Applying AI to network operations - for example, LLM-assisted troubleshooting or config review, or deploying MCP servers to expose network tooling to internal agents.
