WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Senior Partner Account Director, AWS, you will define and drive Braze's global strategy for one of its most critical technology partnerships. You will own the Braze–AWS Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) — shaping and owning the joint partnership vision over the next 2-3 years, identifying structural growth opportunities within the AWS ecosystem, and aligning executive stakeholders across both organizations around shared commercial objectives.
You will operate as a core strategic leader within the Partnerships organization — shaping how Braze engages AWS, influencing product and integration priorities, and ensuring the partnership delivers sustained ecosystem impact. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close collaboration with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams at Braze and within AWS to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role suited for someone who understands the AWS ecosystem deeply, is fluent in the customer engagement platform landscape, and can take strategic initiatives from ideation through execution at global scale.
Define partnership strategy: Identify market pain points, ecosystem shifts, and structural growth opportunities within the AWS ecosystem. Develop a clear global strategy for the Braze–AWS partnership that drives pipeline, product alignment, and long-term commercial expansion
Own SCA governance and milestone delivery: Lead the execution of the Braze–AWS Strategic Collaboration Agreement — steering committees, QBRs, executive sponsorship cadences, and milestone tracking — ensuring both organizations deliver against multi-year commitments
Define the two-year partnership roadmap: Set the forward plan for the partnership across integration priorities, co-sell targets, Marketplace revenue, and joint AI initiatives — and sequence the work required to deliver it
Drive executive alignment: Lead senior executive meetings with AWS leadership and Braze leadership to establish shared objectives, long-term commitments, and governance structures that ensure sustained execution
Own global partnership direction: Independently set the strategic direction for the AWS partnership and leverage cross-functional teams at Braze to execute against it with consistency and accountability
Shape product and integration priorities: Collaborate with Braze and AWS product and engineering leadership to influence roadmap direction, integration development, and joint solution design aligned to customer and ecosystem needs — including where AWS's AI/ML and data stack intersects with customer engagement
Set commercial ambition and targets: Define measurable goals for partner-sourced pipeline, revenue influence, Marketplace transactions, and ecosystem expansion — and hold both sides accountable to delivering against them
Drive commercial performance: Work with Braze Sales leadership and regional PAMs to embed the AWS partnership into active deal cycles — operationalizing co-sell mechanics (ACE pipeline sharing, opportunity registration), Marketplace private offers, and EDP burn-down positioning — translating partnership momentum into pipeline and revenue
Represent Braze in the ecosystem: Act as a strategic ambassador for the Braze–AWS partnership externally and internally — including at re:Invent, AWS summits, and partner advisory forums — positioning Braze as AWS's preferred customer engagement platform partner
WHO YOU ARE
8+ years of experience within the SaaS/technology ecosystem
3+ years of that with Partnerships experience
Experience working at or with AWS on strategic projects
Experience managing a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) or comparable multi-year commercial commitment, including milestone delivery and joint investment frameworks
Experience taking strategic projects from ideation through to execution
An established network within the AWS community
Deep familiarity with AWS — its GTM organization (PDMs, PSMs, ISV teams), partner programs (APN, ISV Accelerate, Marketplace), and how enterprise customers buy and expand on AWS
Strong understanding of the customer engagement platform landscape and how cloud infrastructure intersects with marketing technology
Experience driving AWS Marketplace as a commercial channel — private offers, CPPO, co-sell motions, and EDP/PPA burn-down dynamics
Understanding of AWS co-sell mechanics (ACE pipeline sharing, opportunity registration) and how to operationalize them at scale
Familiarity with AWS's AI/ML and data stack (Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, S3/zero-copy patterns) and where it intersects with customer engagement
Experience building joint GTM with AWS industry verticals (retail/CPG, media, financial services) and regional field teams
Track record of securing executive alignment across partner and internal stakeholders, including C-suite engagement and governance model design
Experience working with product and engineering teams to align on integration priorities and advance a technically grounded partnership roadmap
Able to operate independently in a strategic, first-in-kind capacity and embed partnership priorities into broader company-wide GTM motions
Comfort operating across AWS's scale and internal complexity — navigating multiple orgs (service teams, partner org, field) to get decisions made
