  • Are you passionate about helping customers solve complex technical challenges through well-architected cloud solutions? At Amazon, we are looking for a Solutions Architect III who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and technology. In this role, you will partner directly with customers to understand their goals, design solutions that address real business problems, and guide them through implementation. You will combine technical depth with strong communication skills to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable architectures. If you are a pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys building trusted relationships and turning constraints into opportunities, we want to hear from you.
  • Are you motivated about helping partners across Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) onboard, grow, and co-sell with AWS faster by using agentic AI to remove the friction at every step?. This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
  • Partners and AWS work together to help customers achieve their outcomes on the AWS Cloud. The Partner Services team focuses on helping partners accelerate onboarding, progression, and co-selling with AWS through agentic workflows and integrations. As a Partner Solutions Architect in Partner Services, you will operate across the APJ region, one of the most diverse and fast-growing partner landscapes at AWS. You will work to remove technical friction from the partner journey and scale what works across the region.
  • As a Partner Solutions Architect, your focus is on enabling partners to help joint end customers. You will work hands-on with partners to accelerate their onboarding, progression, and co-selling with AWS, then multiply that impact across the APJ partner ecosystem through agentic workflows, integrations, reusable content, and enablement. You will own partner feedback end-to-end, capturing it from the field, synthesizing it into clear signals, and partnering with AWS service teams to influence the roadmap and close gaps. You will build mechanisms that scale adoption across the region, turning repeatable wins into programs, tooling, and automation that reach partners well beyond those you engage directly. You are expected to own this role end-to-end across APJ: working with internal stakeholders to build alignment and secure sponsorship, defining what the go-to-market should look like, how to segment the market, and what each partner type (Software, Services, and Distribution) needs most, along with the content and engagement formats that suit them best. When ambiguity arises, you define the path forward rather than waiting for direction. You will also collaborate closely with worldwide team members, sharing learnings and best practices, and building assets together that benefit the broader team and drive bigger, global impact.
  • Key job responsibilities
  • Own the technical strategy for Partner Services in APJ, driving partner adoption and continuous improvement across a portfolio of services that directly enable partner business growth and co-sell
  • Design workshops, labs, and quick-starts to accelerate partner understanding and value proposition of Partner Services
  • Lead end-to-end region feedback loops, providing inputs and influencing services roadmap
  • Serve as the technical liaison for Partner Services with the broader Partner teams in AWS, enabling internal teams to scale adoption through their portfolio of partners
  • Collaborate with AWS business stakeholders in the Partner Services function, helping them drive adoption and unlock key technical conversations
  • Create and publish thought leadership content (blogs, announcements, technical content) to help communicate program changes, new launches, and best practices to the partner community
  • Travel up to 25% to engage with strategic partners, deliver in-person enablement, and represent the Partner Services team at AWS events
  • A day in the life
  • You might start your morning reviewing a customer's architecture proposal, identifying areas to simplify and optimize before a working session with their engineering team. Later, you could be collaborating with internal partners across sales, professional services, and engineering to align on a delivery plan. In the afternoon, you may draft a reusable reference design based on a recently delivered solution, or prepare a workshop to share lessons learned with fellow architects.
  • You will help a strategic partner with their co-sell integration, then work with internal leaders to gain their support to enable the field, then end the day with a call supporting a Distributor scale their co-sell motion through their downstream partners, learning about the roadmap and new features releasing soon and how they will influence your current strategy.
  • About the team
  • Our team is made up of technical builders and advisors who are motivated by helping customers achieve meaningful business outcomes through thoughtful solution design. We value collaboration, continuous learning, and a pragmatic approach to solving hard problems. We work closely with engineering, sales, and professional services teams to deliver solutions that matter. If you are excited about growing your skills, mentoring others, and making a direct impact on how customers adopt and succeed with technology, this is the team for you.
