  • Business & Technology Partnership: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Distribution, Marketing, Technology, Data and Operations to translate strategic objectives into actionable technology capabilities and investment priorities.
  • Architecture Governance & Standards: Establish and maintain governance frameworks, architectural standards and technology guardrails that ensure consistency, security, compliance and operational excellence.
  • Vendor & Platform Strategy: Provide architectural leadership for strategic technology partnerships and platform investments, guiding vendor selection, roadmap alignment and long-term technology decisions.
  • Transformation Leadership: Act as the recognised technical authority across major initiatives, influencing architectural decisions, managing technical risk and ensuring successful delivery of strategic outcomes.

What you will bring:

  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture or technology strategy roles within large, complex organisations.
  • Significant experience shaping and delivering client engagement, CRM, Marketing Automation and digital platform capabilities.
  • Proven success defining technology roadmaps, target-state architectures and strategic transformation initiatives with broad organisational impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and guide technology investment decisions across business and technology functions.
  • Experience leading large-scale platform modernisation, cloud transformation and integration initiatives.
  • Strong track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships, strategic vendors and technology partnerships.
  • Experience applying data, analytics and AI capabilities to enhance client engagement, operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to act as a recognised subject matter expert, providing authoritative guidance across multiple strategic initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM platforms, Marketing Automation, client lifecycle management and broader client engagement technologies.
  • Modern architecture patterns, including composable architecture, API-first design, event-driven architecture, microservices and cloud-native platforms.
  • Enterprise integration, identity and access management, data architecture and customer data platforms.
  • Cloud platforms and technology modernisation approaches across AWS, Azure or equivalent providers.
  • Artificial intelligence and automation technologies, including emerging AI-enabled engagement, workflow and personalisation capabilities.
  • Technology governance, architecture review processes, risk management and regulatory considerations in financial services.
  • Business-case development, technology investment planning and strategic roadmap execution.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant architecture certifications are preferred, such as TOGAF, cloud architecture certifications or equivalent.
  • Additional certifications relating to CRM, Marketing Automation, cloud platforms, AI technologies or enterprise architecture are advantageous.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with near-term business priorities.
  • Exceptional communicator who can translate complex technology concepts into clear, persuasive recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Recognised technology leader with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, evaluating emerging technologies and defining future-state capabilities.
  • Outcomes focused, with a strong commitment to architectural quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
