As a Senior Process Engineer Logistics Inbound & Outbound (m/f/d) specializing in pharmaceutical and biotechnological process design, you will be part of a highly qualified team at the regional office in Bad Homburg or Stuttgart, Germany, where knowledge transfer and collaborative work are considered essential. You will work in an international environment with open-minded, professional, and engaged colleagues, within a culture of continuous improvement and development.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• •Lead logistics process planning for inbound, automated warehousing, robotics, outbound, and intra-production logistics in biotechnological manufacturing environments.
• •Manage all planning phases, including budget responsibility, from feasibility and concept design through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and qualification.
• •Gather and assess customer requirements, develop concepts, and present solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• •Create layout drawings, block and process flow diagrams covering personnel, material, and waste flows.
• •Prepare technical and commercial documentation (URS, TS) and support logistics equipment and IT software selection through technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• •Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with internal engineering disciplines and external suppliers for automated warehouse and robotics solutions.
• •Lead or support logistics process engineering teams during project execution, including risk analyses (HAZID, HAZOP) and move-in concepts for critical equipment.

Show your expertise

• •Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
• •Professional experience in logistics engineering projects, ideally with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• •Strong understanding of logistics processes combined with high IT affinity and experience with transport and warehouse management systems such as SAP IM/WM or similar.
• •Professional in MS Project, Auto CAD, 2D/ 3D Layout modelling is an advantage
• •Strong leadership capabilities with a professional, supportive, and results-driven approach in project environments.
• •Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse international stakeholders.
• •Self-driven, detail-oriented, and resilient team player with fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• •Willingness to travel up to 30% and to provide on-site support during project commissioning when required.
