As a Senior Process Technician, you will play a critical hands-on role in turning innovative product concepts into reality. Working at the interface of R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering, you will support new product development, prototype manufacturing, process development, testing, and technology transfer activities that bring breakthrough technologies from concept to commercialization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and mechanically minded professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, building prototypes, developing manufacturing processes, and contributing directly to innovative product development within a fast-paced environment. Prototype Manufacturing & Product Development

Build, assemble, and inspect prototypes, pilot units, and pre-production products from engineering drawings and work instructions.

Manufacture and mold prototype silicone components to support product development and first article builds.

  • Support new product development activities by identifying manufacturability, assembly, and design improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with R&D engineers to develop prototypes, fixtures, and test equipment.

Testing, Validation & Process Development

  • Execute product verification, validation, and qualification testing, including mechanical, pressure, flow, leak, and performance testing.
  • Analyze and document test results, investigate issues, and support root cause and corrective action activities.
  • Assist in process characterization, engineering trials, and the development of robust manufacturing processes for new products.

Technology Transfer & Manufacturing Readiness

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and technology transfer activities from R&D into manufacturing.
  • Contribute to manufacturing readiness by developing and improving work instructions, assembly methods, and process documentation.

Laboratory & Technical Support

  • Operate and maintain laboratory, workshop, and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conduct inspections and product evaluations while supporting material planning, inventory management, and laboratory organization.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate build records, test documentation, and traceability information.
  • Support validation protocols, technical reports, and compliance with quality systems, GDP, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to drive projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Provide regular updates on build progress, testing outcomes, and technical challenges while supporting customer demonstrations, audits, and engineering reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Technical qualification (Level 6 or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, R&D, or product development environment.
  • Experience assembling mechanical, fluid handling, or electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, and assembly instructions.
  • Experience supporting testing, validation, or qualification activities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
