Senior Procurement Specialist, Engineering Services

Mission:

• Administer procurement and purchasing operations to secure high quality materials and services
• at optimal costs, ensuring timely availability while mitigating risks. Build & develop supplier relationships to support the organization goals in a focused procurement setting. Demonstrate accountability, detail orientation, and commitment to continuous learning.

• Responsibilities
• ● Perform the full procurement lifecycle, including requisition review, supplier sourcing,
• contract negotiation, purchase order creation, logistics & delivery verification to
• site/requesters, and coordination until supplier payment.
• ● Identify savings opportunities and optimizations in transactions through market analysis,
• vendor negotiations, and strategic sourcing tailored to Valeo needs.
• ● Proactively resolve issues by influencing suppliers and internal stakeholders,
• ensuring alignment with procurement policies, regulations, and engineering priorities.
• ● Track supplier performance to support projects timelines and budgets.
• ● Prepare and report detailed purchasing activity updates to the procurement manager.

• Requirements:
• Experience & Qualifications:
• ● Minimum 5 years in procurement/purchasing, ideally in tech or engineering fields,
• handling end-to-end processes.
• ● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• ● Proactive problem-solver (not just an executor) who creatively navigates challenges, with
• high accountability and detail focus.
• ● Skilled negotiator spotting savings, eager learner with strong interpersonal skills for
• stakeholder trust.
• ● Proficient in Google Suite, ERP systems, and reporting techniques.
