Job Description:

Senior Product Compliance Engineer/Local Manager

Accountabilities

• •Lead the team of Product Compliance Engineer.
• •Prepare the dossier about compliance with REACH/ROHS/POP/RISL and similar regulations and standards.
• •Responsible of SFRD/CFRD BDG assigned to the local Competence center.
• •Coordination with the global competence center.
• •Prepare the dossiers related to fire smoke regulations EN45545 and/or NFPA130
• •Assess applicability of EU Directives about Products CE Marking
• •Prepare CE Mark technical dossier for Products CE Marking
• •Be in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in railway technological equipment and lifecycle assessment
• •Prepare dossiers relating to the regulation for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items (EU and US Regulations)
• •Develop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions
• •Ensure the Application of Company standard in the local Market aligned with Central Product Certification Function.

Required Skills/Knowledge

• •Good Knowledge about product HSE and Chemical Risk (REACH/ROHS/POP/…)
• •Good Knowledge of EN45545 and/or NFPA130 - Standard for fire protection for Rolling Stock
• •Knowledge about Life Cycle Assessment Methodologies
• •Experience with and an understanding of information related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components
• •At least 3 years of experience as Senior leading a team of people
• •Willing to work in an international team and environment
• •Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background
