New York City · Hybrid (in office 2 days a week to start) · Reports to the Product Director, Manychat for Brands

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🌟

Manychat for Brands is Manychat for influencer marketing.

Influencer marketing has always built awareness. We're making it drive action too. Brand teams and influencer agencies use Manychat for Brands to run DM automation across their whole creator roster. When someone comments on a creator's post to get a link, it lands in their DMs automatically. No more losing interested people at "link in bio."

That gives teams something reach and conversion reports have always skipped: which creators and which posts are actually creating interest. They launch campaigns across dozens of creators, see what works, and double down on the partnerships that bring them customers, not just views. For the creators, brand collaborations become plug-and-play, and the value they generate becomes provable.

The product is young. It went from an idea to live campaigns with design partners and our first customers in a matter of months, and we're now turning that MVP into a product customers love. Those customers and their creators are mostly in the US, and they need someone here who knows the product inside and out and can move it forward with them.

That's this role. You'll be the main point of contact for our US customers and a builder on the core of the product, working directly with the Product Director, our design director, another senior PM, and a small engineering team mostly based in Barcelona.

We're looking for someone who'd rather build than sit in meetings all day. You've started something of your own or been early at a startup. You have an active GitHub. You're curious enough to go figure out how something works instead of waiting for someone to explain it. And you can take a customer conversation on Monday and have a prototype in front of them by Thursday.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀

Be the product's front line in the US

Lead onboarding for new brand and agency customers on the US side. Today that's white-glove: kickoff calls, account setup, and getting their teams and creators live.

Be first in every shared Slack channel with our design partners and customers. Answer questions, chase down creator issues, and turn what you hear into prioritized work.

Join sales conversations as the product expert when it helps a deal move forward.

Keep a current, evidence-based picture of where customers get stuck and what they'd pay for, so roadmap arguments rest on something real.

Own the core of the product

Start with the foundations every customer touches: automations, account sign-up and access, and API access.

Help take the product from MVP to MLP. Find the duct tape holding things together and replace it with something that holds.

Write specs the team actually builds from: clear enough that nobody has to guess, short enough that people read them.

Work alongside design and engineering from problem to production, and follow through after launch.

Help place the next bets

Partner with our other senior PM on our first paid capabilities while it's all hands on deck.

Take what design partners and early customers teach us and use it to shape which bets we place next, and in what order. Bring a point of view, not just a backlog.

Pick up new bets as they firm up. There's no fixed lane yet. You'll own the core and earn the new bets.

Build your way out of the manual work

Our onboarding runs mostly by hand today. Run it, learn where it hurts, then automate the parts that shouldn't need a person.

Design, build, host, and deploy interactive prototypes with AI tools, and test them with customers before asking for engineering time.

Do a first pass on technical complexity yourself with coding agents, so conversations with engineering start from a real estimate rather than a guess.

Get what you need through MCPs, APIs, and connectors instead of copying and pasting between tools. Keep prototypes, research, and decisions in GitHub where the whole team can build on them.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE 🎯

This product took shape in a matter of months, so we have high expectations for what you can do in your first 90 days. By then:

We've gone from MVP to MLP, and a lot of the duct tape holding the product together is gone.

You've brought back things from early customers that changed our roadmap.

We've shipped improvements or net-new capabilities against that roadmap.

Onboarding and supporting our US customers runs through you.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT 🚧

It's not a fenced-off product area. The product is too young to chunk into lanes. You'll work across it.

It's not a meeting-heavy role. You'll spend more time building, shipping, and talking to customers than sitting in status updates.

It's not handing customers off to someone else. You're the person they message.

It's not executing a finished roadmap. You'll help set it.

Anti-patterns we watch for:

Performative work that doesn't change outcomes: the beautiful deck, the exhaustive doc nobody needed.

Moving information between tools by hand when you could connect them.

Waiting for certainty before making a call.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING 💡

5+ years of product management experience.

B2B product experience is a must , whether at your own startup or inside a larger company. Our users are brand and agency teams, and their needs are B2B needs: roles and access, approvals, client reporting, budgets.

Entrepreneurial experience. You've founded something or been early at a startup, and you know what it means to do whatever the product needs that week.

You build. You have a public GitHub with commits in the past 12 months, and you've taken a prototype or tool from idea to something people actually use.

AI is a core part of how you work , not an occasional assist: prototyping, research synthesis, analysis, and automating your own repetitive work.

You're good in front of customers. You can run a kickoff call, hear hard feedback without getting defensive, help with support, and turn all of it into what gets built.

You write clearly. Specs, customer updates, decision docs. A lot of this job is writing.

You're curious and low ego. You go find out how things work, and you're comfortable making a call with incomplete information.

You're based in NYC and can be in the office 2 days a week to start. Some weeks will be more remote, but coming in is part of the job. Your mornings overlap with our team in Barcelona.

You're up for travel to Barcelona about once a quarter, and possibly more often in your first few months.

Bonus if you have:

Experience in influencer marketing, the creator economy, martech, or ad tech.

Experience building for agencies or other multi-client B2B users.

Experience building on Meta or TikTok platforms.

Experience taking a product from 0→1, at a startup or inside a larger company.

HOW TO APPLY 📬

Along with your resume, please include:

A link to your GitHub profile.

Links to things you've built. A prototype, a tool, a side project, a shipped product. Add a sentence on what it is and why you built it.
