Who We Are:

At OPENLANE we make wholesale easy so our customers can be more successful.

We’re a technology company building the world’s most advanced—and uncomplicated—digital marketplace for used vehicles.

We’re a data company helping customers buy and sell smarter with clear, actionable insights they can understand and use.

And we’re an innovation company accelerating the future of wholesale remarketing through curiosity, collaboration, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Our Values:

Driven Waybuilders . We pursue challenges that inspire us to build, create, and innovate.

Relentless Curiosity. We seek to understand and improve our customers’ experience.

Smart Risk-Taking. We transform risk into progress through data, experience, and intuition.

Fearless Ownership. We deliver what we promise and learn along the way.

We’re Looking For:

OPENLANE is hiring a self-directed Senior Product Manager to shape and grow a portfolio of dealer-facing products across inventory workflows, trade-in and lead management, market intelligence, and subscription experiences. You’ll own ambiguous, cross-functional problems from discovery through delivery—turning dealer needs, product data, and operational realities into clear strategy, focused roadmaps, and high-quality experiences.

You Are:

  • Strategic. You develop and execute product strategies rooted in market and customer insights.
  • Customer-Centric. You engage directly with users to understand their needs and advocate for their success.
  • Data-Driven. You use analytics and metrics to guide decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Collaborative. You work effectively with technical and business teams to bring ideas to life.

You Will:

  • Set product direction and prioritize outcomes across connected dealer workflows.
  • Lead discovery with customers and internal partners; turn insight into crisp decisions and measurable bets.
  • Own end-to-end delivery with Design, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Go-to-Market.
  • Improve core workflows involving vehicle inventory, trade-ins, lead follow-up, pricing and market insight, and product access.
  • Establish success measures, instrument experiences, and use evidence to iterate.
  • Bring structure to incomplete information: identify gaps, make sound calls, and surface tradeoffs early.
  • Ensure complex workflows are trustworthy, accessible, and simple for busy dealership teams.

Role Location: This role can be remote in Canada, but some travel to Toronto or other Canadian Provinces may occur.

Who You Will Work With:

Reporting to the Director of Product Design, this role will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support teams on a regular basis. You will also interact with senior leadership to align on strategy and performance outcomes.

Must Have’s:

  • 5+ years in product management, including ownership of complex B2B SaaS or operational products.
  • Strong experience with workflow-heavy products, data-informed decision-making, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Exceptional judgment under ambiguity; you can independently define the problem, align stakeholders, and move work forward.
  • A practical, customer-centered approach to prioritization—balancing usability, business value, technical feasibility, and operational needs.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, from concise requirements to executive-level product narratives.
  • Comfort working with analytics, experimentation, and product instrumentation.
  • Experience in automotive retail, marketplaces, inventory management, fintech, subscriptions, or other multi-sided operational software is a plus.
